Short Story : Don't let me down

Don't let me down
The exam result had just been declared. He came home with a sulking face. His parents were mighty upset. He had secured a first division but that was no where near the 90 percentile. Stop creating pressure on the child, grand mother told the parents. At least he passed. The greatest test is in front of him...it's the test of life. Tenderly, she stroked the child's head and said, yes these grades will benefit but only to a point. Head up, Chin High. After a while you will be alone. Then it will be your values, virtues and ethics that will see you through the test of life.Don't let us down on those.
