Short Story : Applause

Applause 
The act was over. The curtains was drawn. The applause had died down. Silence. Thumping heartbeats, they held their hands tightly...It was a do or die thing for them... and then is a shout - ENCORE. It echoes. That feeling, that memory stayed with them forever ....for a long long time to come. For many, it was a chance to prove themselves. For those many days, they forgot the differences. They came together. All that mattered that they needed to show, they could...and they did. Those were the days of their lives indeed.
